Sweetsop (Annona squamosa) is a deciduous tropical tree that can grow to be 10-20 feet tall. It has small, pendulous flowers that bloom in spring and range in color from yellowish-green to white. The fragrant, sweet, juicy fruit ripens in late summer and early fall.
